Even though I'm not that great of a cook, I can make a mean pizza. This delicious exception in my limited culinary repertoire is courtesy of my employment at Papa Murphy's in high school. I'm not exactly sure how or why my friends and I decided to choose pizza as our teenage profession, but along with the many fun memories, I also developed actual pizza-making skills (who would've thought?!).
I put those skills to good use making dinner for my mom, brother and sister-in-law last night (hooray for family dinners on vacation). And I thought it would be fun to share. There's definitely room for creativity when creating a pizza. You'd be surprised at the kinds of requests people had (no sauce, no cheese, etc.).
And you can substitute healthy options (whole wheat dough, reduced fat cheese, veggie toppings, white sauce) for the traditional ingredients.
More scrumptious awaits here.

Yumm. Homemade pizza is a favorite at our house.
I love homemade pizza, but I always forget about it. I haven't made it in over a year though. You've got me wanting to make some, although I'm quite frightened to hit up a grocery store after getting harassed by a 70 year old at wal-mart tonight. hahahah!!
