Even though I live in Arizona now and have free season tickets to the Diamondbacks (who's gonna turn down free ish, especially free baseball?!), I'll be a Washington sports fan forever. The Seattle Mariners, in particular, will always be my team. They've had quite the turnaround and are second in their division after a dismal start.
My Mom and I had a mother/daughter day at a game when I was home in April, and it was a lot of fun. I get my love of baseball from her, so it's nice to share the experience. And it helped they won and it was Felix Hernandez bobblehead night.

Although it hasn't been easy rooting for my home state's sports teams the past few years, I couldn't imagine cheering for anyone else.

I LOVE this post! I grew up attending Mariners games & my first real job was in the box office at Safeco Field (started the day after my 16th bday!). This is actually my first summer not working there, since I'm now in AZ... I miss my M's!
