The thorough rout the Cougs put on Gonzaga eased the sting of Saturday's Apple Cup loss. Despite dropping the rival football game to Washington, the fiance and I had a great time at the viewing party at the Coug alum-owned Tilted Kilt in Scottsdale.
The Arizona alumni group is strong, which is something the California groups seemed to lack. The highlights were meeting fellow Cougs and the Apple Cup trivia contest put on by chapter president Danna and her rad boyfriend Tripp. Our team tied for second, but we left with a little WSU loot.
As the chapter's newly-appointed co-vice president, I'm looking forward to being in an active alumni group with people who share my level of school pride. Planning for the men's basketball games in Tempe and Tucson is going to be fun!
